Book Review: Inkheart
Inkheart an enchanting fantasy tale about a girl called Meggie. Meggie is a girl the age of twelve who lives in Italy with her father, Mortimer, but Meggie has always called him Mo. Mo is a bookbinder who loves books and so does Meggie, although unlike most fathers he has never read out loud to her since her mother "left".When Meggie can't sleep she lays down with a book and reads by candlelight, even though Mo has told her many times not to, when she is sad she reads, and when she has nightmares she runs to mo's room and reads, nothing allows her to fall asleep better than a book and the sound of Mo's soft breathing. At night she falls asleep with a book under her pillow and swears that sometimes she can hear it whispering to her. Mo has always told Meggie the truth about everything or so Meggie thinks.

Dark Souls By Paula Morris
"Dark Souls" is one of the best books I've ever read! Here's the summary:
Miranda Tennant arrives in York with a terrible, tragic secret. She is eager to lose herself amid the quaint cobblestones, hoping she wont run into the countless ghosts who supposedly roam the city...
Then she meets Nick, an intense, dark eyed boy who knows all of York's hidden places and histories. Miranda wonders if Nick is falling for her, but she is distracted by another boy. One even more handsome and mysterious than Nick. He lives in the house across from Miranda and seems desparate to send her a message. Could this boy be one of York's haunted souls? Soon, Miranda realizes that something dangerous and deadly is being planned. And she may have to face the darkest part of herself in order to unravel the mystery and find redemption.
I defenitly recomend this book. It's sorta scary but VERY exciting! When I read it, I just couldn't put it down! It's a really good book!
I rate it 5 out of 5 stars!

Review #1 By Emma: Meet Kaya
Meet Kaya:
Kaya dreams of racing her beautiful mare Steps High. Her father warns that the horse isn’t ready, but when a pesky boy insults Steps High, Kaya accepts his challenge to race. As they ride, Kaya loses sight of her little brothers. Her carelessness earns her a nickname that her friends won’t let her forget!
Author: Janet Shaw. Paperback. 88 pages.
I read Meet Kaya a few days ago and I LOVED it!! This is a great book and I think you should read it.
It is rated 5 out of 5 stars!
